The Parks and Recreation Department’s popular Lick Creek Park in the Dark events are family-friendly overnight campouts that help you escape the city lights in our premier nature preserve. The campouts are set for Friday, Nov. 7, and Friday, Nov. 14, with activities starting at 6 p.m.

Crews working to repair water line leak on Olympia Way
A water line leak on Olympia Way Tuesday afternoon left 150 units out of water in the Sutter’s Mill Condos. Unfortunately, the water line was deeper than expected, making excavation more dangerous, especially in extremely wet soil. The repair work will resume early Wednesday.

Dispose of your household hazardous waste at Saturday's collection event
Area residents are invited to participate in the fall Household Hazardous Waste and Computer Collection Event on Saturday from 7 a.m.–2 p.m. at the Texas A&M University Services Building. The facility's entrance is on Harvey Road, east of Veterans Park and Athletic Complex.
